Ca ‘Ronesca has its roots on the Italian-Slovenian border, in the Collio area. The property coincides with the state border line for 2 km of vineyards and woods. The breeze, which blows constantly from the Isonzo valley, tells of these lands and their people, divided and hostile until twenty years ago and now united and collaborative.

Surrounded by about sixty hectares of wood, our almost 60 hectares of vineyards are cradled, of which 37 hectares are located in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio, while another 20 envelop the Ipplis hill at 360 degrees, dominated by an over one hundred year old cypress. All around chestnut trees, holm oaks, downy oaks, acacias and junipers, while on the steep slopes facing east the enveloping morning sun floods our vineyards with light: Sauvignon, Pinot grigio, Pinot bianco, Chardonnay, and then Malvasia, Ribolla giallo, Picolit and Tocai friulano, as well as Cabernet franc, Merlot, Pinot nero and Refosco dal peduncolo rosso. For more than 40 years they have been observing, silent and attentive, the changes taking place.
